Jiangchu Dragon Boat Race

The race can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty of a few hundred years ago.

When it comes to the Dragon Boat Festival every year, dragon boats, big or small, will collect at Shentankou Village, Jiangcun, to compete against each other.

In the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Qian Long named the Jiangchu boating event as the “Dragon Boat Event”, and the “Dragon Boat Event” is used until today.

The event has continued for hundreds of years since the Ming Dynasty.
