Lin’an has a forest coverage of 76.55% and contains two national nature reserves, namely Tianmu Mountain and Qingliang Peak, and a national forest park, namely Qingshan Lake.

The region is listed as a national ecological construction demonstration area.

The forest museum of Tianmu Mountain include mainly such programs as”China Mountains Leisure and Tourism Forum”, the “Mountaineer Outdoor Challenge Contest” and the “Tourist Fans Mountaineering Venture”, etc.
