The People’s Bank of China have issued the 2015 Edition 100 yuan note as part of the fifth series RMB notes on 12 November 2015.
Features of the new 100 yuan note
The 2015 Edition 100 yuan note has the same size, principal graphic pattern and colors as the 2005 Edition. While the new note continues to carry the National Emblem and the issuer’s name ( The People’s Bank of China) in Chinese, Braille, Chinese Pinyin and ethnic minority’s languages, there are adjustments in some of the graphic patterns and enhancement in the overall security features.
Obverse side and Reverse side
The newly issued 2016 Edition 100 yuan notes will circulate in parallel with the previous editions and have the same face value.
