NOME Policy – Shoes – Maintenance Instructions
A. Premium shoe cream and cloth should be used to remove the dirt from leather shoes, crocodile shoes and ostrich leather shoes. Gently rub the upper with cloth to make it bright.
B. Soft cloth should be used to remove the dirt from sheepskin, moccasins or kangaroo leather shoes. Gently rub the upper with shoe shine sponge to make it bright.
C. Gently remove the dirt from nubuck leather shoes with soft bristles. Dirt-removal should be done following the same direction to create a smooth texture. Raw rubber and fur cleanser can also be used to remove the dirt. However, shoe cream is not recommended.
D. Dampish cloth should be used to remove the dirt from silk cloth shoes and then air dry.
E. Half-dry cloth should be used for patent leather shoes. Transparent shoe cream should be used for pearl light leather shoes. Shoe wax can be gently applied on shiny leahter shoes.
