The “Main Half” tells about the origin and development and kinds of silk, the Silk Road and how important silk was to the ancient Chinese society.
The “Hall of Dyeing and Weaving” and the “Hall of Modern Achievements” are exhibitions of how weavers developed in the ancient times and what China has achieved in silk production, R&D and trade since 1949.
