Notice to All Suzhou Employees

As part of continual of operational efficiencies, Seagate has made the difficult decision to shut down its factory in Suzhou, China which is registered as Seagate Technology International (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.

We regret that our Suzhou employees will be affected by this action, which reflects our ongoing commitment to reduce Seagate global manufacturing footprint and better align the business with current and expected demand trends.

Based on PRC Employment Contract Law, the Company will pay the severance payment as er legislative requirements. Employee exit process begins January 11th and will continue through Jan, 18th.

The company takes the opportunity in thanking all Suzhou employees for their dedication and contribution to our business, and for their professionalism as our necessary restructuring continues.
